August 16, 2011—Deployment of SAP BusinessObjects in the cloud can be accomplished within a few weeks at considerable savings for clients. Details of a recent RunE2E-led, cloud-based deployment for SAP customer Kenneth Cole are outlined in a new case study published by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The case study highlights the speed and flexibility that AWS offers for SAP development initiatives. The Kenneth Cole project was completed in less than three weeks. RunE2E, working closely with AWS, completed initial system environment and platform provisioning, software installation, simple user administration, connections to the on-premise data stores, and development of multiple reporting templates in that time frame.
Although SAP has traditionally required enormous amounts of resources to build, deploy, and run, Amazon Web Services is “a game changer” for provisioning and running IT platforms for SAP technologies, according to RunE2E Principal Ray Kelly.
